This will be the first of 2 matches scheduled for Terri on the day. On paper, this might look like a tough match for Candace, but anyone who's seen her wrestle knows she'll give Terri all she can handle. Candace has more wrestling experience, but Terri is certainly the superior athlete. Candace will look to make up for her size and strength disadvantage with her tenacity. One would assume that Terri has the better scissors, but we've seen Candace use her legs to overpower bigger women before. It took some convincing, but we've finally got Arnold into the Squeeze League. His first opponent? Mara. Perhaps it's a little cruel of us to start him off against the #2 ranked wrestler in the league, but let's just say we felt Mara would have the right "temperament" to show Arnold that the league can be fun. It'll be a multi-round match, so we expect a tough one. Just so that we're not throwing Arnold right into the fire, we have agreed for there not to be any cameras and no penalty round. We're REALLY excited for this match that features Ingrid taking on Blanche. Technically they've faced each other in their doubles match, but the reality is that Blanche spent the match wrestling Astrid instead. Now, Ingrid may not have earned a rematch against Deloris yet, with only 1 win, we did feel that her big win over Phil earned her something... In this case that something is the next best thing: a match against Deloris's friend, Blanche. Blanche has struggled since her debut. Both women had surprising moments against big Phil, but only Ingrid was able to eek out the win. Blanche agreed to this match, but we can tell you…

We almost felt bad for Ingrid when we set this match up against Phil. But as the league gets more competitive, Ingrid will have to learn to keep up or take her leave. One thing she'll have going for her is size. At 5'10" she's one of the few who can nearly look Phil in the eyes. Her toned body will go a long ways too. She has yet to put it all together on the wrestling mats, but if she can find a way to use her tools effectively against Phil, she might have a chance. Phil on the other hand has wanted to wrestle stronger opponents and Ingrid…

Terri takes on feisty competitor Astrid in what should be an interesting single point match. Terri has a clear size advantage, but Astrid has a sinewy fit body that's proven to be deadly enough on its own. Astrid also has an extremely competitive attitude that's proven effective. At the same time, she's shown that she's prone to being overwhelmed by bodyscissors when they're done by a pair of strong legs. Terri certainly meets the criteria there. Terri's size and strength advantage might be tough for Astrid to handle. Neither woman is particularly experienced, but we have to give the edge to Terri in terms of sheer athleticism.

"She blew her chance, so let me do it then", was what Nia told us when she pitched for this match against Phil. Nia felt that even though Mel earned her shot against Phil, she performed quite poorly. Nia wants to show that she can do it better. Is this her way of trying to earn a rematch against Mel? Not sure. But she'll have her work cut out for her against Phil. Almost everyone is at a size disadvantage against him and Nia is at a size disadvantage against almost everyone as it is. She'll need a lot more than luck to beat Phil.

This match was specifically requested by Jason. He's continued to train with Mara and after the latest help she's given him, he believes the student has surpassed the teacher. He plans to show her what he can do in this single submission match. Mara tells us she's still got some tricks up her sleeve that she hasn't taught him. No cameras this time, as these two requested a private match.

Blanche nearly had a lucky win in her last match and she looks to have better success against a female opponent this time. However, it won't be just any female opponent... She'll have to beat female bodybuilder, Mel. Blanche is still new to wrestling, while Mel has both the experience and the physical stats to dominate. We fully expect this to be a one sided victory for Mel, but it will also serve as good experience for Blanche as she continues learning to improve. Then again, Blanche has surprised us before.
