Elina vs Kevin

Ever since his narrow loss to Kara in their league debut match, Kevin has fought to redeem himself by remaining in the top 5 of our rankings with relative consistency. Despite this, Kara feels he has not earned a rematch with her, due to his pattern of being unable to beat her. We try to avoid pushing anyone into matches in this league, so the girlfriend and boyfriend duo will remain apart for now. But we felt Elina would be a good alternative challenge for Kevin. Our theory is that Kevin doesn't struggle against strong women, he struggles against the little quick ones. Elina is very close to Kara's size and has the same quickness. Elina may actually be a far more dangerous opponent for him. She can quickly and unexpectedly wrap him up like Kara can, but she has far more training and experience than Kara does. If he can beat Elina, perhaps it will convince Kara to give him a rematch? Or perhaps Kevin just has trouble with his girlfriend specifically. Regardless, he'll have a tough opponent as Elina is one of the most determined women on the roster and Kevin is now her target.
