Candace vs Elina

Candace and Elina met up in a rematch from their league opening match outlined in the previous recap here. Elina came out victorious in that one, and Candace left in a big huff, blaming everyone but herself for her loss. The good news was that Candace eventually calmed down, but only enough to challenge her to wrestle again with the same rules. That brings us to this match…

While their first match ended up being quick, this one went on for quite a while. Candace clearly learned her lesson last time; Elina’s legs were not to be messed with. As such, Candace spent much of the match on the defensive end, scrapping and struggling to avoid leg scissor attempts from Elina.

After a lot of back and forth, Elina’s determination to repeat her submission on Candace left her vulnerable to big reverse headscissor herself. Candace may not have legs that are known for quick tapouts like Elina’s, but she certainly knows how to use them to wear down opponents who are determined not to submit. That’s exactly what happened. Once Candace clamped on her reverse, Elina used all of her willpower to avoid submission until she simply ran out of energy.

Candace takes the match with a big crush out victory.
