Carina is the kind of person that tends to wear her emotions on her sleeve. So when she stepped on the mats it become clear very quickly that she didn’t appreciate Mel’s arrogance in attempting 2 matches in one day. Especially not one against her.

Mel didn’t shy away from it. She’s confident and she let Carina know it.

She didn’t do it in just their pre-match banter; she did it during the match too. With a first round headscissor KO, Mel made it clear what she came there to do.

Mel loves trash talking. It’s part of the game, right? Carina didn’t find it so funny when Mel taunted her during grapevine exchanges. Mel started to not find it so funny either when she got wrapped up in the same chest she was making fun of not long earlier.

Mel was quite surprised to be caught in a grapevine — after all, it’s unusual that anyone can even get her in one at her height and leg length. Even when someone can get Mel in a grapevine, their legs aren’t long enough to be effective.

Not Carina.

For the first time, Mel found her legs too thin and too short compared to her opponent. The panic attack of being all wrapped up sent Mel tapping out a quick submission.

We have to give her credit though: Mel didn’t lie down. She fought back. She nearly had Carina beaten too, until she was locked in and squeezed silly in a tight reverse headscissors from Carina.

Carina’s legs did such a number on Mel that she had to give up the whole match.

As if that wasn’t enough embarrassment for Mel, Carina made her suffer greatly during the penalty round, with foot domination, face pins and scissor squeezes that had Mel begging Carina for mercy.

Can you imagine going through such a long session, knowing that you still have to wrestle another match right after? We think Mel might have just scared the entire rest of the roster away from trying any more double-match dates!
