Blanche vs Phil

PhilPhil had a good laugh when we told him there were wrestlers in the league that many would consider more "mature" or "older". As a result, he actually requested to wrestle one. Blanche has only had 2 matches with us, and only one of them was a singles -- so she seemed like a fair choice to have another match. However, we were worried about the risk of injury with such a one-sided match-up. As a result, we've decided to make this a Pins match for a single point to win. Blanche gets some practice and Phil gets his request. It might not be exactly what he wanted, but if Blanche can eek out a single pin on him, he'll have a terrible blemish on his record. One has to wonder if she has any reasonable chance though.

Whoa. Is it possible to have a short match but still be intense? Apparently so.
This match only lasted a few minutes. Phil was laughing and having a good time shoving and rolling Blanche all over the mat against her will. For Blanche, it was everything she’d feared about wrestling. She was being embarrassed and made to feel like she didn’t belong there.
However, when Phil went in to finish her off, her survival instincts kicked in, and she managed to scissor his arms and get him trapped in a lotus lock. For a moment she had him rolled over onto his shoulders…

Phil squirmed. The big goofy grin was suddenly wiped off his face.

Phil was in trouble. Blanche had him hooked down with her legs.
8… 9…
Phil couldn’t power through her legs to unhook them.
In a last ditch effort, he arched his back and elevated his hips so that his own shoulders were up off the mat and he was pushing Blanches shoulders down.

Phil wins again.
Kudos to Blanche for a good try, despite being far outmatched by a much bigger male opponent.
