Seasoned veteran, Mara took on the fiery Astrid in this match and it was certainly an intense battle on the mats.
The more they wrestled, the more frustrated Astrid became at Mara’s ability to stave off her holds and remain on offense. Astrid has a great naturally fit body, but Mara’s thick frame and toned body gave her a clear advantage that continually flustered Astrid.
In the end, Mara was able to settle the temperamental Astrid down with bodyscissors / sleeper combination hold that put Astrid out and away for the match. This victory secures Mara’s spot as the second highest ranked wrestler in the league.
