Arnold vs Christina

This confrontation actually started out with a little bit of negotiation between the two wrestlers when they first took to the mats.

Christina wants to run up her score and challenged Arnold to change the match to be a Multi-Round match. Arnold was looking to get his feet wet against the #1 ranked wrestler in the league and seemed hesitant. We’d already agreed to Arnold’s request to keep the cameras off for this one, so it tracks that he was worried about Christina running him down in the rankings with a big loss before he’s gotten into the swing of things.

They ended up compromising: Christina would get a Multi-Round match like she wanted, but there would be no Penalty Round. The other restriction Arnold asked for was that the match be limited to 2 points only, so that neither of them could run up the score on the other too much.

We confirmed the rules and they were ready to start.

Christina was all over Arnold from the moment the rules were agreed to. She slide behind him into a bearhug and used it to lift him and swing him down to the mat for a take down. Before Arnold knew it he was trapped in Christina’s infamous standing headscissor. Arnold was humiliated to not be able to topple the tall fitness expert over, as she lorded over him with her standing scissor hold. 

Christina laughed and crushed and laughed and crushed until Arnold passed out, too stubborn to submit to such a hold.

When he got up, she was right all over him again.

Christina plowed him over and snapped him into a bodyscissors from on top. She had him tapping her big thigh in no time.

Before Arnold knew it he was submitting the contest and Christina had already won.

Christina proves she hasn’t lost a step in her return, with a super-quick 2 point victory over newcomer Arnold. She’ll still have to look over her shoulder as she has tough competition coming up right behind her with not only Mara and Terri, but also Mel and Phil making up the top 5 at the moment. None of them will be as easy as Arnold and that’s for sure.

Arnold talked to us after the match and politely asked to be matched against someone closer to his ranking next time. We figured it’s only fair. Arnold will get a break and hope for a more even match next time.
