After this match we asked Ingrid 1 simple question: How?

Her answer: “Well, I looked at the reviews of his other matches on the league site”, she said, breathing heavily from the match. “The only weakness he showed was that pins match where they said he kinda got stuck in Blanche’s crucifix thingy… So, I figured if she can get that on his arms, I can definitely get it on his legs”

Ingrid knew that Phil’s upper body was his strength. Betting on him  not working on his legs as much turned out to be a smart bet. Not only were Phil’s legs much thinner, but he did NOT like them being stretched out.

Ingrid’s long powerful legs scissored Phil’s right leg, while her arms wrapped around his left leg. His left foot kicked wildly over her shoulder as she stretched her body to full extension, splitting his legs open along with her. We’d never heard Phil shout like that.

It was a hard fought submission Ingrid earned to close the match. Ingrid’s size really helped her in this one, as she gave Phil trouble throughout the match. Her toned body wasn’t going to be shoved aside easily. Still, Phil had control for much of the match.

Not an expert in technique, Phil didn’t see Ingrid’s leg stretch coming at all. We didn’t think Ingrid was an expert in technique either, but apparently she’s been learning!

Massive congrats to Ingrid for her first win and being the first woman in the league to beat Phil!!!
