When we reached out to Phil to offer him a match against Carina, we were surprised to hear him say "No". Before hanging up, he said one name that clarified his response: "Ingrid". So while Phil waits for Ingrid to become available for a rematch, we offered this match to Mel instead. She gladly accepted. Determined not to be left behind in the chase for the #1 spot, Mel offered an additional challenge: "Give me one more right after", she said. "Like Terri", she added. This is a re-scheduling of the rematch between Tonya and Owen. Since it's supposed to be a rematch from their last encounter, the rules are planned to be for another Pins Match. Last time Tonya scored a pin over Owen before a series of interruptions forced the match into a Draw. Do you think Tonya will continue to earn pins on Owen, or did she get lucky with a distracted opponent?

Arnold is back to take on Knockout Queen, Kara in his 3rd match. We felt bad putting him against 2 of the top ranked women in his debut (Christina and Mara), so we've decided to put him against a much smaller opponent in Kara. Still, he'll have to keep his guard up if he wants to earn his first win. Kara often catches opponents sleeping and they end up sleeping too if they think they can last very long in her scissors. This will be a single submission/KO only match with no cameras. Can Arnold get his first win, or will Kara keep him winless?

Tonya enjoyed her last mixed match where she crushed Jason and decided she wants more mixed action. Ever since she lost to Owen, she's been eager for revenge. However, she wanted to try something different: a Pins match. Owen was happy to agree. Tonya enjoyed pinning Owen last time and wants to show him that she would have won if pins counted. Owen thinks a pins match will be even easier for him. Let's find out if Tonya's improved enough to beat him, or if Owen has recovered from his last unofficial grudge match.

This match was made very quickly after Mara made her case that Terri shouldn't be allowed to pass her for the #2 spot in the rankings, when she hasn't faced her or beaten her yet. Mara feels her #2 spot has been long earned. To settle her claim, we proposed that Terri face her in a Multi-Round Penalty match for all the marbles. The winner would have a clear hold on the second spot. Mara will be a unique challenge for Terri. We hadn't heard from Christina in quite some time, but our phone started ringing not long after the results of Terri versus Candace and Nia came out. Mara has also had recent wins, and Christina finds herself only barely above the #2 and #3 ranked wrestlers after laying claim to the top spot by a large margin for many weeks. Evidently, Christina doesn't want anyone stealing the top spot from her and agreed with us that she'll have to remain active if that is to be the case. You'll notice that this is the 2nd match of the day for Terri, and that's not by accident. Terri wants to climb the rankings as fast as she can, but she's taking a HUGE risk in doing so. Risk versus Reward: the risk is that Terri could be just finishing a brutal penalty session from Candace when she has to dust herself off and wrestle Nia. This will be the first of 2 matches scheduled for Terri on the day. On paper, this might look like a tough match for Candace, but anyone who's seen her wrestle knows she'll give Terri all she can handle. Candace has more wrestling experience, but Terri is certainly the superior athlete. Candace will look to make up for her size and strength disadvantage with her tenacity. One would assume that Terri has the better scissors, but we've seen Candace use her legs to overpower bigger women before. It took some convincing, but we've finally got Arnold into the Squeeze League. His first opponent? Mara. Perhaps it's a little cruel of us to start him off against the #2 ranked wrestler in the league, but let's just say we felt Mara would have the right "temperament" to show Arnold that the league can be fun. It'll be a multi-round match, so we expect a tough one. Just so that we're not throwing Arnold right into the fire, we have agreed for there not to be any cameras and no penalty round.
