Well, here I am... Reporting on my life again.
If Kim were here, she'd be looking at me like, //'I told ya so, Kira'//.
And I'll admit, I do miss talking to her. It was giving me a certain sense of fulfillment that I can't explain.
What I realized is that the part I ''really'' needed was just talking.. or getting my thoughts out there, I guess.
What I ''didn't'' need was the school counselor wagging her finger at me every time I did something in a different way that she would have done it. I know she probably means well, but still.. it's annoying.
I'm my own best advisor.
So, instead I'm doing this... Writing down my thoughts.

Oh, and before I start spilling the beans, let's get one thing clear.
This is ''not'' a diary.
A diary is something for teenage girls to secretly write about their high school crush, or vent about their latest heartbreak, or whatever.
That's not what this is. That's not who //I// am. At all.
This is a ''journal''.
And no, it's not the same thing... Call it what you want, but this is exactly what I say it is.

''Chapter 1''
[[Continue->Continue1-00]]Now that Kim's not here to judge my every word, I've gotta toot my own horn a little...
I said I was my own best advisor, and it was for good reason -- things were off to a rough start when I came to this college, but I've managed to steer things into a good place.
That wasn't easy to do.
And before anyone tries to say that it's because of Kim's advice, keep in mind that her suggestions were mostly limited to: 1 - asking me to talk about things (good advice) and 2 - telling me to blab everything to Lori (bad advice).
Yeah, I know that I told Kim that I followed her advice and told Lori everything that happened, but I kinda lied about that... there was literally no reason to tell Lori.
Why create a problem, where there wasn't one?
I just needed to settle Kim down, while leaving Lori to enjoy the fruits of my labour.
And Lori is doing great... Exhibit A: just look at her and Timothy. All smiles, all love.
(print: '<img src="' + $domainpath + 'pt1-01.jpg">')
[[Continue->Continue2-00]]Still not convinced? Well, even I didn't believe this part...
"Guess whose got a date with Timothy?", Lori said as we walked to class.
"Oh my gosh, he asked you out again?", I replied.
"Nope... I asked him!", Lori chirped with pride.
"Holy crap, haha!", I laughed.
(print: '<img src="' + $domainpath + 'pt2-01.jpg">')
[[Continue->Continue3-00]]If little timid Lori asking Timothy out isn't a sign of progression, then I don't know what is.
While some of us were progressing, others were regressing.
I know I shouldn't laugh, but I couldn't help but smile at seeing Sahana and Tisha get a little one-on-one talking-to, from one of the profs.
What goes around comes around... and Sahana was getting hers.
(print: '<img src="' + $domainpath + 'pt3-01.jpg">')
[[Continue->Continue3-01]]One look at Sahana's sad little boo-boo face was all it took to see that she was being warned that she was about to fail out if she didn't get her act together.
Unless she's suddenly about to grow a bigger brain, I don't think we'll be seeing her too much longer. Good riddens.
Yeah, I'm being kinda mean. But hey, it'll be an important lesson for her -- there's more to life than fashion and good looks.
Heck, Casey and her whole crew need to learn this lesson. Better to learn it sooner than later.
Besides, I'm pretty sure they have a rich mommy and daddy to fall back on.
What I never understood was why the teachers only seemed to pick on Tisha and Sahana, and why certain profs were harder on those two than other profs. Casey seemed like she was the most brainless of the 3, yet she keeps waltzing through everything like it's all fine.
Speaking of brain power, I'm probably wasting too much of my own thinking of those girls.
(print: '<img src="' + $domainpath + 'pt3-02.jpg">')
[[Continue->Continue4-00]]Hmmmm... What else can I write about?
Well, I tend to run into Samar a little more often, now that he tags along with Timothy to some of the same clubs that Lori and Tim go to.
Oh, I can just hear Kim's voice now...
(print: '<img src="' + $domainpath + 'pt4-01.jpg">')
[[Continue->Continue5-00]]"And then what happened?", Kim asks.
(print: '<img src="' + $domainpath + 'pt5-01.jpg">')
[[Continue->Continue5-01]]"Nothing special, really", Samar replies. "There was an event going on at the club, so everyone was focused on that".
"It was mostly small talk", Samar says.
"Although... You //could// say it got a little more interesting once I went back to the dorm with Maika and Asako...", Samar begins.
(print: '<img src="' + $domainpath + 'pt5-02.jpg">')
[[Continue->Continue6-00]]"See, now that wasn't so bad, was it?", Samar says, as they enter Maika and Asako's dorm room.
"Yeah, but only because you guys were there... and the event", Maika replies.
"//Especially// the event", Asako says with a devious smile.
(print: '<img src="' + $domainpath + 'pt6-01.jpg">')
[[Continue->Continue6-01]]"What was that?", Samar teases. "Especially Ethan, you said?"
"Nooooo", Asako replies. "The Even-T.. With a 'T'... the girls wrestling"
"Yeah, thank goodness we had something to watch", Maika agrees. "I think I would have been bored out of my mind otherwise"
(print: '<img src="' + $domainpath + 'pt6-02.jpg">')
[[Continue->Continue6-02]]"You only get bored because you don't drink enough, Maika", Asako tells her.
"And you drink too much", Samar replies to Asako.
"I don't get what your sudden club obsession is anyways", Maika says to Samar. "I still can't believe you're the one dragging us out to this, Samar.. usually it's Asako".
(print: '<img src="' + $domainpath + 'pt6-03.jpg">')
[[Continue->Continue6-03]]"The guys wanted to meet you... They're nice, right?", Samar says.
"They're nice enough.. it's just not my scene.. didn't think it was yours either, Samar", Maika replies. "Like, I kinda get the girls wrestling show, but you're not big on dancing or drinking.. sooo... when there's not a show... what's the point?"
"Meeting people", Asako pipes.
"Like Ethan", Samar says.
"Like Ethan", Asako agrees.
(print: '<img src="' + $domainpath + 'pt6-04.jpg">')
[[Continue->Continue6-04]]"Pffft... people are overrated", Maika scoffs to herself.
"Speaking of Ethan", Samar says, sitting down on Asako's bed. "You should be careful with him, Asako".
"They're all nice guys.. but I think that they are also players", Samar warns her. "Ethan is the captain of the wrestling team, so he's very popular, you know?"
"Just watch out", Samar suggests.
(print: '<img src="' + $domainpath + 'pt6-05.jpg">')
[[Continue->Continue6-05]]"''You'' watch out!", Asako shouts, as she playfully pounces at Samar.
"Come on Maika!", Asako beckons. "Help get him!"
(print: '<img src="' + $domainpath + 'pt6-06.jpg">')
[[Continue->Continue6-06]]"Get his legs", Asako hollers.
"I'm trying!", Maika says with a laugh as Samar struggles.
Asako tries latching onto Samar's arm, awkwardly.
"Doesn't look like you 2 learned anything from the wrestling event tonight", Samar chuckles.
(print: '<img src="' + $domainpath + 'pt6-07.jpg">')
[[Continue->Continue6-07]]By this point Samar is laughing at the haphazard attempts from the ladies to keep hold of him.
"What are you even doing?", Samar mocks Asako.
"Maika!! C'mon, stop him from moving around so much down there!", Asako says.
Maika laughs through a grunt, complaining "it's haarrd!!!".
(print: '<img src="' + $domainpath + 'pt6-08.jpg">')
[[Continue->Continue6-08]]Maika shifts position and grabs onto Samar's lower body.
"Okay! Errghh! I think-- I've... got him!", Maika tells Asako.
"Hah, you only wish!", Samar chuckles dismissively.
(print: '<img src="' + $domainpath + 'pt6-09.jpg">')
[[Continue->Continue6-09]]Asako suddenly //snaps// her legs around Samar's arm and neck, while Maika locks up the rest of him.
(print: '<img src="' + $domainpath + 'pt6-10.jpg">')
[[Continue->Continue6-10]]Samar struggles violently, but the ladies have all of his limbs tied up.
Hearing Samar gagging on Asako's legs, Maika advises caution.
"Hang on a sec Asako", Maika says. "You're choking him".
(print: '<img src="' + $domainpath + 'pt6-11.jpg">')
[[Continue->Continue6-11]]"Mmmmm, yeah", Asako replies, biting her lip and squeezing him tighter.
"Asako...", Maika repeats, hoping to convince her to ease up.
(print: '<img src="' + $domainpath + 'pt6-12.jpg">')
[[Continue->Continue6-12]]Samar waves his hand in a panic.
"Asako!", Maika shouts. "You're strangling him!"
(print: '<img src="' + $domainpath + 'pt6-13.jpg">')
[[Continue->Continue6-13]]"Asako!!!", Maika repeats.
"Ohhh, fine then", Asako says, dissappointed as she lets him out.
"Are you okay?", Maika asks Samar in the background.
(print: '<img src="' + $domainpath + 'pt6-14.jpg">')
[[Continue->Continue6-14]]"Asako! It wasn't supposed to be like a real fight", Samar says.
"You're being a baby", Asako says dismissively. "I wasn't even doing it that hard".
(print: '<img src="' + $domainpath + 'pt6-15.jpg">')
[[Continue->Continue6-15]]"No Asako!", Samar says angrily. "You ''always'' take things too far".
"You seemed to be enjoying it well enough before you got trapped", Asako retorts.
"You don't know when to quit, Asako!", Samar replies. "And one of these days you're going to get yourself in trouble because of it".
"//You're// the one that should have quit sooner", Asako says with a smirk.
(print: '<img src="' + $domainpath + 'pt6-16.jpg">')
[[Continue->Continue6-16]]"You know what, I'm sick of this", Samar says, storming out of their dorm room.
"Aww, c'mon Samar... we were having fuuuunnnnnn!", Asako jeers.
Samar ignores her and leaves.
(print: '<img src="' + $domainpath + 'pt6-17.jpg">')
[[Continue->Continue6-17]]"You know, //he// was the one that took us to a club that had wrestling tonight", Asasko says. "You'd think even Samar would have been able to find play fighting with us a //little bit// fun at least".
"Heh, well maybe he just doesn't like being strangled to death by your legs, ya know?", Maika says.
"Ughh, so dramatic, you two", Asako says. "I bet Ethan would've liked it"
"I'm just saying Asako, you know he doesn't like losing", Maika replies. "Maybe you did go a bit too far?"
(print: '<img src="' + $domainpath + 'pt6-18.jpg">')
[[Continue->Continue6-18]]"Ooorrrrr, Maika....", Asako announces.
"Maybe it's not ''my'' legs that he wants wrapped around his head", Asako says suggestively.
Maika doesn't know what to say.
"Boop!", Asako beeps, as she touches Maika's nose.
(print: '<img src="' + $domainpath + 'pt6-19.jpg">')
